DORSET FACES
This is my first documentary series, shot just before the UK's third national lockdown, I was exploring the range of individuals living in my area of England's south coast. Each portrait is technically very similar, all have been shot on my large format monorail camera with fill-in flash and a similar composition & treatment. However, having shot the subject's portrait I gave them a sheet of card for them to make a statement about themselves, they could draw, collage or write as much or as little as they wanted. These were then used as the image's boarders, resulting in each portrait being both consistent and completely unique. Collectively, the set is a testament to the range of amazing people that make up our society. Freelance Photographer
